राज्यातील रानडुक्कर, हरिण, (सारंग व कुरंग), रानगवा, रोही (निलगाय), माकड, वानर तसेच वन्यहत्ती या वन्यप्राण्यांपासून मनुष्य, पशुधन, शेतपिकाला किंवा फळबागांना नुकसान झाल्यास नुकसान भरपाई देण्यासाठी ही योजना सुरु करण्यात आली. योजनेच्या प्रमुख अटी
1. पीक नुकसानीची तक्रार नजीकचे वनरक्षक, वनपाल अगर वनपरिक्षेत्राधिकारी यांचेकडे घटना घडल्यापासून तीन दिवसांत करावी. (Key terms of the scheme
1. Report crop damage to the nearest forest ranger, forester or forest ranger within three days of the incident. )

2. पीक नुकसानीबाबतची शहानिशा संबंधित वनपाल, संरपंच, व ग्रामसेवक / तलाठी या तीन सदस्यांच्या समितीमाफर्त 10 दिवसांच्या आत करावी. (2. Certificate of crop loss should be ascertained within 10 days by a three member committee comprising of forester, sarpanch, and gram sevak / talathi.)

आवश्यक कागदपत्रे- पीक नुकसान झालेल्या क्षेत्राचा पंचनामा, मोजणी व नुकसानीबाबतच्या पुराव्याची कागदपत्रे. (Required Documents- Punchnama of crop damaged area, documents of proof of enumeration and loss.)

लाभाचे स्वरूप –शासन निर्णयानुसार वन्यप्राण्यांपासून झालेल्या नुकसानीची भरपाई देण्यात येते. (Nature of Benefit – Compensation for losses incurred by wildlife as per government decision.)
